Registrations update
We have 84 Registered
A lot of 1st timers.
We have about 9 that have not paid yet.
Some of these are when people click to pay by check, but then never send us the check.

I have  2 checks.  $300 for the Papa John Entry
and the $5000 for the O’Shea Title Sponsorship

The Sierra’s Jumbo Cookie shop
Last year there was a downtown jumbo cookie shop that had a 10 x 10′ tent among the Food Trucks.
They did not actually apply last year, just kind of worked it out to be there?
End result- they never paid the fee to be there and they expected to be there free again this year.

This resulted in me spending WAYYYY too much time (over a week) communicating with them why that should not be free again this year.
No free pass.
Everyone else pays why would they get in free?
So the Food truck page was not good for them to sign up ….because it only allowed a $100 fee and they were not a big truck.
All the back and forth resulted in the creation of a new Food Registration page….for NON-Truck Vendors

Irish School of Dance
We let them register for $50 as a school.
They will have 20 dancers

Compared 2 Sign up lists
Jean had idea to compare our present sign up list with who was in the parade last year..and see who hasn’t signed back up. I wrote and excel script code to do it for us.  To our surprise, 52 names were people from last year, that have NOT signed up yet…and we have less than 20 spots left.

Had a Sponsor question
I did a Sponsor list check with Miranda.  That included Kolin and Dan for Maldener’s Breakfast and Mine (I sponsor the Alamo Bartender Tip – when the Parade pays for Drinks..I cover the tip)

Worked on Logo Re-creation
Re-created our Logo into a huge size, so it can be shrunk down and put on a Koozie
Got that to Barry for the order.

This can be used by Deb F and Laura S.  Any email going to that new one…gets auto forwarded to Deb F’s personal email.

Food Truck Issue
a food truck called the “House of Briskett” signed up on 1/23….despite the page saying we were closed.. but also paid the $100 fee.  I’ve asked a couple of time about this guy… and really only got 1 response and that was from Deb T…saying just let him stay.  So that would be 7 food trucks and one table that sells giant cookies.  We better have good weather there’s a lot of people.

VICE PRESIDENT

Great news — we’re at 84 entries, right on pace with where we were at this time last year, and we have one week to go!
I went ahead and posted last night that the February 28 registration deadline is firm with no exceptions,
We should  plan to post every other day to keep it top of mind for everyone.

I’ll have everything ready by March 4 for the website, so we can start preparing the parade packets at that point.
I’ll send Jim updated versions of all the necessary documents that go into the packets and you can have them printed.
She used Fed Ex located out by Target to do all of the printing.

You’ll want to go ahead and order the green envelopes soon on Amazon —

I included the receipt in my reimbursement request for reference, and Tracy may have it as well.

SECRETARY JEAN

1. Have we set up a vendor account with the City? (I called and left message to the dept about this)
2. We will need to invoice the city for the $3500. (When we find out a “Who” name to invoice, Tracy can make one
3. This needs to be done by the end of their fiscal year which is 2.28.2026. We should have the funds by parade day if this is done before the 28th.

4. Grand Marshall and how they want to be transported.

PUBLIC RELATION MIRANDA
