For the 2nd time, we will have a pre-parade registration packet pick up to be held:
Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Location: The Alamo, 115 North 5th Street, Springfield, IL
Please have someone from your entry pick up this packet which contains instructions for the location for entry to the parade line up, It will also have your line up number placard as well as the parade route. It is important that someone from your entry picks up this packet and you can use this information to let your other participants in your entry be aware of all of the details. This REALLY helps our team in the staging area on the morning of the parade. This way, we don’t have to provide information to every participant in all 100+ entries.
Lastly, our reviewing stand is being moved from 6th and Adams to 5th and Capitol to create a larger family friendly area on Capitol Avenue, extending to the 6th Street area.
Remember to also maintain your pace in the parade so we don’t have large gaps…this makes for more of a steady parade experience.
