Sorling Northrup filed our annual report.
I had that we were incorporated as a Non For profit on 1/26/1985
So its possible there were a couple parades before that.
I left list of officers as-is for now and we will change next year when we have a new Treasurer.

SHRINERS called me this morning.1/27/2026

They were signing up for the parade and noticed the new note about only having 2 vehicles that come with the $50 entry.

The woman on the phone stated that they really are not for sure about how many items will be in the parade until about March 1st.

I told her about some entries say they have 2 vehicles and show up with 20 or show up with more than their application.
I went on to say the parade had grown to be the largest Springfield event.
And we do have a space issue when it comes to lining people up.

So when it comes to the Shriners, we already reserve that 3/4 of a block on the North side of Horace Mann for them.
So they are not a shock on parade day and the space is already reserved.

She said “Crazy cars” will be back this year and she hopes the ‘Mortorized bar stools” too (weather permitting)

I went ahead and told her to stick with the $50 sign up fee and we will see them at the parade.

As for next year, we will have to get a board consensus if we will let them be the “exception to the rule” since they bring a varied types of entertainment with each participant( Bar stools, car with 2 front ends, crazy little cars, clowns, tractors, etc..) unlike Cruisers…that just bring more of same theme of old cars.

Who does our taxes?
Kolin mentions our Attorney takes care of that.
Debbie says “Eck Shafer and Punke” as doing taxes…but I have never heard of that name

-Working with Kolin & Invoice about the Stage moving 1 bldg West from where it was

-Working on Refunds thru Tracy and writing a check for people that paid twice. Stripe & BlueHost keep their fees.

– Sent email to Crustal Trent with Google Map screen shots of where the Stage and flat bed will be…per her inquiry/

– Contact 2 entries that paid twice Minnie O’Beirne and National Guard about getting refunds

Poured thru the Treasure notes on balancing out the Bank statement vs what we have documented for Deposits. I responded with information and some adjustments.
We still have some people that paid twice.  Hope that is fixed now.

I have heard from 1 of the 3 people that registered and paid twice.
This seems to be only for those registering as a charity for $50.

I am looking into the fact that apparently after a payment is made….no verification page or information is displayed.

When is actually…BOTH those thing are to happen.
1) That get a Thank you for their payment.
2) They get re-directed to our letter, Rules and link to our web site for information.

I am looking into this this morning to see hat change at our website.

The 3 that have paid twice are :

—-2) a $350 from Ward 5 Alderman Lakeisha Purchase

1) Received our Attorney Legal filing bill for $10 from Sorling /Northrup.
Since we had a change in Treasurer for this year, I need to call them on Monday before this document gets signed and paid. Also I will need a $10 check made out to Sorling Northrup Attorneys.

2) I still have email address for if any of you want to use a Parade Email for Parade work.
It can be a “Your title”@StPatsParade.com or your name or whatever.

3) You can add it to your Outlook or Email program of choice…or just use the Web Mail to get it anywhere including your phone

1) Registration sign up email notification will contain a Subject line that immediately denotes what “type” of Registration (i.e Parade, Food Truck, Section ‘A’, Volunteer, etc..)
2) Registrations will go to both Info@SpringfieldIrish.org and Info@StPatsDayParade.com (was not sure who linked to what)
3) Volunteer sign-up notifications will for to Lead Volunteer Deb Farder. If anyone else want notified of online sign-ups, let me know. (list is below in 12/28 notes)
4) Per the meeting, I made the Parade entry boxes “mandatory” to fill out.
They can’t leave blank information as we use all of it to manage the parade.
5) Created and updated the “President’s Global 1-stop shop Parade Excel Spreadsheet.” Sent it out to the Board as an example and demonstration if they wanted to see this “Live” or not.
6) Fixed minor links and web site appearance.
